Youth Mentoring

Counselling services at Bream Bay Community Support Trust offer a calm, confidential space where individuals and whānau can talk through life’s challenges with someone who genuinely listens. Our counsellors support people navigating stress, relationships, grief, anxiety, and major life changes, helping them build clarity, resilience, and practical strategies for moving forward.

Our youth counsellors gives tamariki and rangatahi a safe, relaxed space to talk about what’s going on in their world — friendships, school pressure, family changes. The focus is on helping young people build confidence, understand their emotions, and learn practical tools for coping and communicating. Come and have a kōrero with one of our youth counsellors.

Community Connections

We provide wraparound support to make rental preparation and housing pathways easier to navigate. While we are not a housing agency or rental broker, our team works closely with local accommodation providers, community organisations, and government services to explore options and find solutions that best fit your needs.

We support individuals and whānau to access the services and supports they need by offering practical guidance, strong advocacy, and trusted connections across the community. Our team works closely with local and regional agencies to ensure support is responsive, timely, and tailored to each person’s goals and circumstances.

Testimonials

“I found the support from Martine to be an incredibly supportive and amazing lady, not just for myself but also my parents while they were alive, she helped  them with health referrals, mobility scooters, legal support, funeral advice, food support and a supportive listening ear when I called when struggling, she even helped my friends and neighbor! I would give her a 10 out of 10"

H.Samuels, Ruakākā
