I am an identical twin and the mother of two adult children who began their education journey here in Bream Bay, where one still lives today. Across my thirty‑eight years as a registered nurse, I have served our community in a range of roles including Practice Nurse, Occupational Health Nurse at the NZ Refinery, community nurse, and Clinical Manager for Ki A Ora Ngātiwai.
After moving back to Bream Bay four years ago, it has been wonderful to be home. As Chief Executive of BBCST, I am passionate about strengthening wellbeing, inclusion, and opportunity for individuals, families, and whānau in our area. My leadership is grounded in community development, service excellence, and ensuring our support is accessible, compassionate, and responsive to real needs.
Collaboration is at the heart of my mahi. I work closely with staff, community organisations, and stakeholders to create sustainable outcomes and positive change. I feel privileged to lead the BBCST team and to serve this beautiful, diverse community.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, music, reading, exploring new places, and meeting new people. Living so close to our stunning coastline is a blessing — swimming and time at the beach are among my fauvorite ways to unwind.
