What is the most important thing in the world. It is people, it is people, it is people.
Ko Manaia te maunga
Ko Terenga Paraoa te moana
Ko Takahiwai te whenua
Ko Rangiora te marae
Ko Wiki-te-Pirihi te tangata
He uri tuawhitu ahau no tēnei rangatira

I am honoured to be joining the Bream Bay Trust Board this year and look forward to serving our local community with pride and commitment to the people of this beautiful rohe. I am a descendant of Patuharakeke – Takahiwai and Ngāpuhi.
I currently teach at Bream Bay College. Prior to joining the Trust Board, I served for three terms on the Board of Trustees at One Tree Point (Te Ara Kāhika) kura and I also hold the role of Vice Secretary for the Bream Bay Swim Club.
